Finally – we proudly announce: BEX is back in 2023!
We are looking forward to welcoming you back at the Pannonian BirdExperience from April 23 – April 30, 2023 at Neusiedler See – Seewinkel National Park.
Join us for an intense programme of field trips, workshops and lectures and finally a high-end exhibitor’s fair.
No matter if you are a professional birder or birdwatching is just your passion, or if you simply love nature – come by for a visit, it’s worth it!
We strive for offering you a varied and interesting programme and mainly looking forward to welcoming friends and visitors – old and new ones – back after a long time of social distancing.

A Varied Programme during BirdExperience
There will be several field trips each day into the National Park and adjacent areas, as far as Hungary and Slovakia, workshops on nature photography techniques by professional photographers, for both beginners and advanced students. Finally you can finish the day on a high note with a pleasant and informative evening event ("Abends im Wirtshaus")!

The app around bird watching!
"Bird list Neusiedler See" is an app with information on all occurring in the region around the Neusiedler See bird species. This app will help you to find specific species of birds as well as the best places for bird watching - in one of the most important bird habitats in Central Europe!
In addition, the app allows you to save your observations and share them with others.
This app is your universal companion in the region - whether you have a general interest in nature and birds or are looking for specific species of birds.
The development and implementation of the app was carried out as part of the EU funded project Vogelwarte / Madárvártra
